Join our Analytics Department at XING, consisting of 15 motivated analysts, where leveraging data to drive insights and fostering collaborative learning is our priority! The team you will support is dedicated to enhancing sales and active sourcing through data-driven decision-making. As the fifth member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the management, creation, and ongoing development of our data marts.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to utilize tools such as Snowflake and dbt at scale, focusing on structured data modeling and establishing best practices to be shared with the team. You will implement business logic, contribute to building reports, and conduct in-depth analyses as needed. We foster a collaborative and engaging work environment, where being in the office is encouraged but not mandatory. Build and maintain integrated data marts within our Data Warehouse, optimized for analytical purposes (Snowflake, dbt).
Define and integrate domain-specific business logic and KPIs.
Provide easy data access, training, and documentation tailored to the needs of analytical and business stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze data quality and relevant changes in source systems; trigger adjustments and provide actionable recommendations to enhance decision-making processes.
Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Application Developers, Product Managers, and Analysts to build and maintain high-quality datasets.
Coordinate between technical teams and business units to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Commercial Information Technology, or related disciplines.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Solid experience in analytical engineering and data modeling across various domains.
Proficient with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI.
Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R and job automation tools (e.g., Talend, Airflow) is a plus.
Strong business acumen with excellent communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
Commitment to delivering high-quality solutions with attention to detail, along with a passion for data quality and robustness.
