My network’s opinion – XING offers new poll feature

Hamburg, January 26, 2012 – XING, the leading online business network in German-speaking countries, now offers its members a quick, easy and free way of polling their contacts. The polls feature allows more than 11 million members to put together a poll and then share it with their contacts to find out what they think about a wide range of different topics and issues.

“XING polls is a great new feature that adds to the value of everyone’s ‘What’s new in your network’ feed”, said Jörg Malang, VP Product at XING AG. “It’s great to see our first Beta Labs project being rolled out to all of our members within such a short space of time.”

The polls feature was launched in December 2011 as a project within “

XING Beta Labs”, which is a part of the platform set aside for trialing beta features and services. Based on user feedback Beta Labs products can be developed and shipped quickly. The polls feature is available to all members who are of course free to choose whether their poll is public or private, and whether respondents can submit more than one answer. About XING
